Decor Bar goes egg hunting for April

After the love fest of  Valentine's Day Décor Bar in February, then a jump back into the past for Retro Cool in March, it's only natural our thoughts turn to bunnies and eggs for Easter in April.

On Saturday, April 16, at The Patissier's Ann Siang outlet will once again open to the public, with chefs on standby to help customers decorate their Patite Patisserie cakes. Patite Patisserie is our range of frozen, decorate-it-yourself cakes; there are three flavours to choose from - Chocolate Dream, Strawberry Delight and Mango Madness - delectable goodness just waiting for your personal touch and creativity.

PP's Décor Bar is basically:
1. You with an unlimited imagination
2. An undecorated Patite Patisserie cake
3. A full spread of ingredients to decorate above cake
4. Professional bakers on standby to help you bring imagination to reality
5. An afternoon of food and fun

Décor Bar Eggs-travaganza takes place on Saturday, Apr 16 at The Patissier's Kitchen at 18 Ann Siang Rd, #01-01.

Call 6220-5565 or e-mail infor.as@thepatissier.com to choose your cake flavour and reserve a place at Décor Bar for one of the following sessions:
10 am - 11 am
11.15 am - 12.15 pm
1.30 pm - 2.30 pm
2.45 pm - 3.45 pm
4 pm - 5 pm

Payment of $25 nett (for one cake, décor ingredients and help from our chefs) must be made in advance and no cancellations are allowed. Members of The Patissier, are entitled to a 10% discount for April's Décor Bar Eggs-travaganza.

My Sunday

On my way to Vivo City to meet Jie Ning.. We are going for dinner and movie..

 It have been quite sometime since I last went to Vivo City.. Wanted to do my shopping but can't as we met only at 7pm and we have to eat our dinner and catch a movie at 9pm. How sad.. :( So we only manage to go to those shops that we have things to buy.

Pets Lover! Something delicious for my lovely boy... Puffy.. They have lots of flavours for the muffins, cookies and pastries.. Blueberry, chocolate, strawberry etc.. Bought 5 pieces for SGD 4.80.. It really smell so nice that I wanted to eat it! LOL! Let the photos do the talking. :)

Then we went to Sushi Tei for a SINFUL dinner! Guess I will be putting on weight.. haha

After dinner, its movie time.. Big Mommas!! Like Father Like Son

A funny show.. Had a good laugh!

Went home after movie and my baby is waiting for me. Maybe he knew that I would bring something delicious for him. The moment I stepped into my house, he jump on me!

Movie

I enjoyed this film, fantasy mixed with romance. It looks like it’s set in medieval era, but has definite contemporary feel with their unique costumes and hair styles.
Good light entertainment.

G-Star Spring Summer 2011

G-Star’s collection also had many great pieces for the women. They had a variety of shorts, jeans, jackets and jumpsuits. There was even an evening dress, which they call the “Kalahari Dress.” It has a raw denim bodice with a very voluminous free-flowing bottom. The tailoring was amazing, especially on the structured denim pieces like the vest and jackets. I also thought the washes were great. They had some really amazing worn-in light washes. Something that I don’t usually associate with them.
Overall, I think this collection is going to be a big hit. I see the shorts in particular being a big one, the jacket above looks like it will be a favorite as well. I can see it on celebrities such as Liv Tyler and Jessica Alba. I also really liked the styling. It looks like it was inspired by G-Star fan, Gwen Stefani. I can see her rocking many of these pieces, especially the parachute pants and their boyfriend jeans. You can check out the women’s denim looks below from the desert inspired G-Star Raw collection.

Great day out with Jie Ning~

It have been such a long time since I last met up with Jie Ning.. Thinking to get some Iphone accessories for myself so we went to the IT Fair at Suntec City Convention Hall. Being the last day, the place is pack with people. We even have difficulties walking!

At the Lobby, waiting to go up by the escalator! Can you imagine how crowded it is.

The queues were too long, hence we left the place empty handed.. Sounds stupid to go and buy nothing, but it's really too crowded. I just don't have the patience to queue! Haha

Next we went to Marina Square, trying to avoid the taxi queues at Suntec. Guess what, we were really very luckily. Although there were quite a few people in the queue, we manage to get a cab within 5 minutes! Haha Because the driver was heading to Orchard, and those people in front were going to somewhere else. Just nice for us! Hehe

Shop at Muji before going to Orchard. Bought some titbits.

First stop in Orchard was to Paragon. Went to Gucci and saw a pair of shoes which I like it very much. Sad to say my size is out of stock. Ask the SA to check for me in other outlets, only MBS have it and only one pair left. Immediately, I told the SA to reserve for me! Probably will go and get it tomorrow. Hehe

 Had our dinner in Ion (Lu Gang Xiao Zhen) food were delicious :)

Been to few places, Takashimaya, Ion, Wheelock Place, Far East Plaza then finally to DFS Galleria. Our legs were tired but luckily we got the driver to send us home.
